Fishing Shop and Monsters
Buy a variety of new items, including special Aqua Pants, Rune Sacks, and Fishing Rod upgrades in the Fishing Shop!
Also, kill the new Uncommon, Rare, Epic and Legendary Fish Monsters, which are fished up in place of Rune Containers and are more common. Each monster gives Fishing XP, and has a chance to give you a Rune Container of the same tier but also has a chance to give you any of a variety of other items, available - or not available - in the Fishing Shop!
The maximum Fishing level has been increased to 25, mostly for bragging rights. Fishing boosters also now grant an additional chance to find monsters in addition to the XP buff.
Jewel Scrap
Jewel Scrap replaces Sharpness III swords and Doggo Books with the intention of simplifying this confusing part of progression and making it more satisfying. At Prestige IX, unlock a new menu in Marcus that allows you to scrap Jewels that you don’t want. This gives you Jewel Scrap, which can be spent to upgrade the damage and protection of the Jewel Items you do want!
Scrap Level 5 and 15 unlock small random Scrap Buffs which give situational advantages.
As compensation, updating a Doggo Booked item on login will give you a free Scrap Bundle. You can also purchase Scrap Bundles from the Miner, and get Scrap Bundles from Super and Ultimate Uberdrops, in place of the deprecated items there.
Updated Reward Chest
Feeling lucky? Find rewards in Red Spaces in your Reward Chest and they’ll be multiplied by up to 10x! Many of the other sounds and animations have also been reworked.
New Major Event: Beast
Kill the beast to become the beast, and then kill bots and players to be heavily rewarded!
Balance changes:
- Nerfed Toxicity Rune - max 30% healing reduction, plus 5% per extra Toxicity Rune you have equipped
- Added Protection VI, unlocked at Prestige LIV
- Reworked Reflection Renown Upgrade - now reflects 10/15/20% of received true damage back to your opponent
- Made Quick Maths actually quick maths
- Added Dazed Rune - 1/3/5/10% chance to remove Speed and apply Slowness I to your opponent on hit
QOL changes:
- Added leaderboards for Quick Maths and highest League kills
- The custom leaderboard hologram will now go back to showing your League when a new one starts, if it wasn’t able to find you one in the prior event
- Added “You’ve been bought a gift by your Guild!” notification if you’re offline
- Added notifications for the Guild Leader when their guild’s players join/leave/are kicked
